The HOG regulator is crafted with the high performance HOG D1 Balanced Diaphragm first stage matched to the highly adjustable D1 second stage. The high gas flow rate and breathing performance of the HOG regulator makes it a clear choice of technical and extended range divers. The HOG D1 first stage is produced using the Trivalent Chroming Process. Trivalent Chrome is an environmentally responsible but costly process that results in a durable chrome finish. HOG regulators remain an exceptional, thoughtful value for divers needing durability, performance and reliability for demanding technical dives. The D1 first stage is an environmentally protected Balanced Diaphragm design with 300 BAR DIN fitting. The design includes a rotating turret with 5 Low Pressure ports and 2 High Pressure ports located on each side of the first stage body. It comes ready for use with elevated oxygen applications (100% Oxygen to 2400psi, 80% Oxygen to 3400 psi out of box when new). The HOG D1 second stage is designed with one-handed access to the inhalation effort knob and the dive/predive venturi adjustment lever allowing tuning breathing performance in-water. Metal valve components retain heat and moisture from exhaled breath, improving resistance to freezing in cold water and reducing "dry mouth". The rigid second stage face cover with diaphragm protection reduces current-induced free flows.
